A middle-aged man, who has spent his life trapped in the routine and monotony of his job as a teacher, faces a personal crisis when he realizes that his life has been nothing more than a series of wrong decisions. As the sociopolitical tensions of 1960s Europe escalate, he finds himself lost in his own thoughts, questioning not only his identity but also the meaning of everything he has been doing.

A chance encounter with an old classmate pushes him to reconsider his existence. As he navigates his memories and the paths not taken, he embarks on a series of deep reflections that lead him to confront his failures, unfulfilled dreams, and the opportunities he let slip by. With each interaction he has, whether with friends, his wife, or new acquaintances, the weight of his own frustration becomes evident, along with the desire to break free from the chains he has forged himself.

The story is interwoven with the cultural backdrop of the era, echoing social movements and paradigm shifts, as the protagonist seeks a sense of belonging and authenticity. With an introspective narrative, the film reflects the individual's internal struggle in a rapidly advancing world, challenging what it truly means to be free amidst the chaos.
