When a couple, Geoff and Kate, prepares to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary, their seemingly perfect life begins to unravel with the arrival of unexpected news. Kate, who has always been the loving and understanding partner, discovers that the body of Geoff's former girlfriend, who tragically died years ago in the Swiss Alps, has been found intact in the ice. This discovery triggers a whirlwind of emotions and the resurfacing of old memories that Geoff thought he had left behind.

As the celebrations approach, Kate finds herself caught between feelings of love and jealousy, questioning the stability of their relationship. Geoff, for his part, tries to manage the emotional impact of the news, facing his own feelings of loss and guilt. What was supposed to be a year of joy turns into a journey of self-reflection and vulnerability, where both must confront not only their history together but also the secrets they have kept for decades.

The couple's daily life intertwines with moments of tension and tenderness, revealing the complexities of love, memory, and the passage of time. As their anniversary date nears, Kate wonders if she can truly trust the love she once considered unbreakable. The film takes us on an emotional journey through nostalgia and the dilemma of letting go of the past.
