In a world shrouded in darkness after an endless global crisis, a group of rebellious teenagers finds refuge in an ancient, crumbling theater. Since the onset of the pandemic, this group, led by the fearless Mia, decides to revive the passion for art and culture that once united society. Together, they decide to stage a play that represents their fears and hopes, but what begins as an act of resistance becomes something much greater.
As they rehearse the play, the young people discover that the community around them is trying to resist the oppression of the authoritarian regime that controls information and creativity. In this hostile environment, the rehearsals become a symbol of hope, a place where everyone can express their deepest feelings. However, as the premiere date approaches, their spirits are tested when agents of the regime begin to take notice of their activities.
Tension rises when some friends are arrested, jeopardizing not only their production but their very freedom. With time against them, Mia and her group must decide whether to continue with the play that could lead them to freedom or surrender to fear. This film is a celebration of creative resistance, as well as a reminder of the transformative power of art in humanity's darkest moments.
