In a not-so-distant future, the spaceship Nostromo returns home after a mining mission in a remote star system. When the crew receives a distress signal from an unknown planet, they decide to investigate, ignoring warnings about the strangeness of the place. Upon landing, they discover a mysterious alien ship hidden in a desolate landscape, where they find eggs containing something far more sinister than they could have imagined.
One of the crew members, Kane, is attacked by a creature that emerges from one of the eggs, becoming immobilized but seemingly unhurt. The situation takes an unexpected turn when the creature attaches itself to his face, forcing the team to bring him back to the Nostromo for medical attention. However, what follows is a parade of terror: Kane awakens only to discover that the creature has grown and escaped, unleashing a deadly predator aboard the ship.
With a completely ineffective security system and communication with Earth severed, the crew, made up of endearing characters like Ripley and Dallas, embarks on a struggle for survival against an unrelenting creature that not only seeks to kill but also displays terrifying intelligence.
