Lara Jean Covey is a teenager who feels a bit out of place in the world of love. Her way of coping with her emotions is by writing letters to all the boys she has had a crush on, but she has never had the courage to send them. Everything changes when, accidentally, these letters are sent out, exposing her most hidden and secret feelings.
Chaos ensues when one of the recipients, Peter Kavinsky, a popular guy at school who has just broken up with his girlfriend, decides to take advantage of the situation and comes up with a brilliant idea: they pretend to be in a relationship to make their ex-girlfriends jealous. Lara Jean, who never imagined being in a relationship, agrees to the deal, and thus begins her journey filled with surprises.
As the two spend more time together, Lara Jean starts to discover more about herself and, of course, about true love. However, things get complicated when her past catches up with her and one of the other boys she wrote to also appears on the scene, forcing Lara Jean to confront not only her feelings but also her deepest fears.
Amid laughter, misunderstandings, and awkward situations, the film explores the complexities of teenage relationships and the brave quest for true love, all with a touch of humor and romance that makes it a must-see for hopeless romantics.
