In this charming romantic comedy from 1942, we meet a young couple, Betty and Bill, who are about to take the big step toward the altar. The exciting anticipation of their ceremony turns into a whirlwind of entanglements and misunderstandings, all orchestrated by a group of well-meaning but disastrous friends who want to "help" the couple plan their life together.

It all begins when Betty's friends decide to organize a series of surprises for the couple, which quickly transform into a chain of accidents and hilarious situations. From choosing a wedding venue that turns out to be a complete disaster to the impulsive antics of their dog, every attempt to make life easier for the couple results in absolute chaos.

Meanwhile, the pressure of preparations and family expectations begins to weigh on Betty and Bill, who start to wonder if they are truly ready to take this big step. Amidst the confusion, true love and friendship prove to be the keys to resolving the mix-ups. As the wedding date approaches, they discover that sometimes the path to lasting love is filled with unexpected surprises.

With comedic twists and heartwarming moments, this story illustrates how love can overcome obstacles, even when they seem insurmountable, reminding us that what matters is not the destination, but the adventure lived along the way.
