The Baker's Wife

In a picturesque village in the south of France, life flows peacefully until the charismatic baker Aimé becomes the center of attention for everyone. His bread is famous for its unmatched flavor, but his life takes an unexpected turn when his charming wife, the beautiful and young Aurélie, feels lonely and neglected by Aimé's long working hours. The baker, so dedicated to his craft, does not realize that his carefree routine leads Aurélie to seek companionship with other men in the village.

Desperate for the love and attention missing from her life, Aurélie falls for a young and handsome foreigner. As the idyllic setting begins to crumble, tensions rise between the humble baker and his unfaithful wife. Aimé, shocked by the betrayal, plunges into despair: his world teeters between love and treachery, the creation of bread and the ruin of his family life.

The story unfolds in a blend of light comedy and deep human drama, exploring the fragility of relationships and the quest for personal happiness. Set against a backdrop of beautiful countryside landscapes and music that captures the essence of the village, the film immerses us in an emotional narrative that reminds us that sometimes love and life can be as complicated as making good bread.
