In a quiet 1930s town, a young and handsome doctor struggles to balance his professional ambition with his personal life. After an exhausting day at the hospital, he returns home, where the only solace he finds is in his relationship with a beautiful nurse who helps him at his clinic. The attraction between them is undeniable, but there is an obstacle: the doctor is engaged to a wealthy heiress, whose family expects him to marry her, thus advancing his career and social status.

The story becomes complicated when the doctor is drawn into a series of misunderstandings and romantic entanglements. After a night of insomnia and an accident involving a friend of his fiancée, the situation becomes even more tangled, revealing the hidden tensions between love, duty, and ambition. As the young doctor navigates this sea of emotions, he realizes he must make difficult decisions that will affect his future and that of those around him.

Set against a backdrop of romantic comedy, the tension between duty and desire becomes the central thread of the plot. The characters face dilemmas that reflect the social expectations of their time, as well as the human longing to find true love. In an unexpected twist, everyone must confront their true feelings before it's too late, leading to a poignant and liberating conclusion.
