In a bustling high school in a city in China, Chen Nian's life is shaken when a series of abuses and bullying from her classmates turn her into a constant target for mockery. Despite her efforts to keep a low profile and focus on her studies, the pressure and loneliness overwhelm her. But one day, everything changes when she crosses paths with the enigmatic and rebellious Liao Yicheng, a troubled boy with a complicated reputation.

Liao, who also grapples with his own demons, is drawn to Chen's vulnerability and decides to protect her. As their friendship evolves into something deeper, they both begin to find comfort and strength in each other, challenging not only their peers but also an educational system that often overlooks the emotional pain of its students. However, the situation intensifies, and tensions rise when a tragic event unfolds, dragging Chen into an abyss of despair.

Facing unimaginable challenges, the young girl must find a way to overcome her suffering and discover her voice in a world that seems to have silenced her. Set against the backdrop of a society that is often cruel, this poignant story raises questions about friendship, love, and resilience, leaving an indelible mark on how a genuine connection can change the course of one’s life.
