During the years of World War II, a young poet and dreamer, trapped in a monotonous life, decides to enlist in the navy as a way to escape the routine and seek a purpose. As the plot progresses, this character embarks on a series of experiences that confront him with the realism of war and sacrifice, but also lead him to meet a diverse group of soldiers, each with their own stories and aspirations.

During a mission, the protagonist is forced to face an unexpected situation on a deserted island, where he forges a deep connection with a comrade-in-arms who also struggles with his own internal demons. Together, they discover that beyond camaraderie, war has taught them to value the small moments of humanity amid chaos. Life on the island serves as a mirror of their lost hopes and postponed dreams.

Through desolate landscapes and sincere dialogues, the film explores themes of friendship, sacrifice, and the quest for meaning in dark times. As the story unfolds and the war intensifies, these men must decide whether the sense of belonging and love they have found among each other is enough to face the uncertain fate that awaits them. The conclusion is both a reminder of the cost of war and a tribute to the resilience of the human spirit.
