In this lighthearted comedy, we follow the escapades of a young New Yorker named Sonny Koufax, a charming yet irresponsible lawyer who enjoys a carefree lifestyle and nights out partying with his friends. However, his laid-back world takes an unexpected turn when his ex-girlfriend returns to town and leaves him with a small boy, Julian, who turns out to be the son of a stranger. With no idea how to care for a child, Sonny embarks on an accidental journey of fatherhood that challenges his carefree way of life.
As he tries to adjust to his new and sudden responsibility, Sonny discovers that being a "dad" is not as easy as it seems. From dressing him and making breakfast to dealing with Julian's antics and his friends' doubts about his new situation, each day presents a new lesson. The unexpected arises when, through their misadventures, Sonny begins to form a genuine bond with the little boy, revealing his more human side.
However, not everything is straightforward; Sonny's life becomes even more complicated with the appearance of his biological father, who wants to claim custody of Julian. Amid laughter and heartwarming moments, Sonny will have to learn what it truly means to be responsible and, above all, he will learn to love and care for someone else, forever changing his perspective on life and family.
