In a quiet American city, a group of factory workers at a pin factory leads a monotonous life until a mysterious collective dream begins to affect them. What initially seem like simple episodes of drowsiness soon turn into a peculiar series of dreamlike experiences that invade the day-to-day of their lives. Each of the protagonists starts to dream of their deepest desires, but these desires take unexpected and often hilarious turns.

Jack, a die-hard dreamer and manipulator of his own fate, finds himself trapped in a web of conspiracies as he attempts to unravel the mystery that is robbing him and his coworkers of their vitality. His dreams lead him to fantastic worlds filled with extravagant characters and challenging situations, from duels in the sky to extravagant dance parties at the edges of his imagination.

As Jack's dreams intertwine with the reality of his companions, the story imparts a lesson on the importance of staying true to oneself in the face of everyday pressures. The film, with a comedic tone and an optimistic message, reminds us that while life can be serious and monotonous, dreams are the fuel that inspires us to keep moving forward. In a surprising finale, the characters learn to embrace their creativity and rediscover the magic that resides within them, all while battling the powerful and sometimes terrifying phenomenon of dreaming.
