In this intriguing tale of mystery and horror, a young couple, Peter and Joan, decides to spend their honeymoon at a remote hotel in Haiti. However, their romantic getaway quickly turns into a nightmare. Upon arrival, they encounter a disturbing figure, the enigmatic Dr. Vitus Werdegast, a psychiatrist harboring dark secrets from his past. Werdegast is obsessed with an old friend and rival, architect Hjalmar Poelzig, who now lives in a haunting mansion surrounded by myths and legends.

As Peter and Joan become entangled in this strange love triangle, terribly sinister events unfold. The atmosphere thickens with the emergence of a bizarre cult and hidden rituals, threatening to consume the souls of those who cross their path. Joan becomes the target of a dark desire, and the tension escalates as Werdegast's quest for revenge morphs into an unstoppable force seeking retribution for an ancient grievance.

The story unfolds through unexpected twists that keep the audience on the edge of their seats, balancing psychological tension and visceral horror. With cinematography that evokes deep-seated fears and captivating performances, this unsettling film about fear, betrayal, and transcendental terror reveals how even love can become a deadly game in the wrong hands.
