In a small Danish village, the life of a young and dreamy woman is shaken by a series of mysterious events that unveil the dark secrets of her surroundings. After a night of celebration, she is tormented by horrifying nightmares that seem to intertwine with reality. Each night, she delves deeper into a dreamlike world where the sublime and the terrifying blend, and where her own fears come to life.

Meanwhile, her daily life confronts the hypocrisy of the villagers, who, behind a façade of normalcy, hide envy and betrayal. As her visions intensify, the young woman begins to identify the people around her as the figures from her dreams, leading her to question the reality of her life and the relationships she has built. Among feigned friends and secrets, anguish consumes her, bringing her to a breaking point.

The tension reaches its climax when she decides to confront her inner demons and try to uncover the meaning behind her visions. In her quest, she encounters an old sage who offers her a key to decipher her dark world. With his help, the young woman will learn to navigate between light and shadow, in a struggle that will lead her to discover hidden truths about herself and about the people she thought she knew, while facing the consequences of opening the door to her deepest fears.
