In a rural and desolate Brazil, a farmer named Manuel finds himself trapped in a world of contradictions and tensions. After his wife, Rosa, is brutally murdered by the powerful landowners in the area, Manuel decides to take control of his destiny. Instead of surrendering to oppression, he joins a group of rebels fighting against injustice in his community, but soon realizes that the struggle is not as simple as it seems.

As he navigates despair and betrayal, Manuel faces a profound existential dilemma: Is violence the only form of resistance? Throughout his journey, he will encounter a mysterious preacher who embodies both hope and manipulation. The connection between faith and violence becomes the axis of his quest, leading Manuel to question his own beliefs and motivations.

The story unfolds in an environment of intense spirituality and the struggle for freedom, reflecting the tensions between good and evil that reside within each character. With a direction that blends reality and symbolism, the narrative visualizes the man's fight against forces that appear insurmountable. As the story progresses, Manuel will have to decide whether his thirst for revenge will lead him to redemption or to a dark abyss from which he cannot escape, blurring the lines between the sacred and the profane.
