In this entertaining classic comedy from the 1930s, we meet a former soldier who, after the end of World War I, gets stuck in time, living as if he were still on the battlefield. After a series of misunderstandings and comedic misadventures, our protagonist encounters a young man who, desperate for some direction in his life, becomes his loyal companion. Together, they embark on a series of absurd situations that lead them to explore civilian life, a whole journey of disasters and laughter.

As they try to adapt to everyday life, the old soldier makes some rather questionable decisions, such as helping a group of friends who are about to be evicted. With their characteristic clumsiness, the duo manages to unite the community, creating a series of comedic entanglements that range from mix-ups at the grocery store to awkward situations at social gatherings.

The dynamic between the two characters is hilarious; one with his childlike and innocent spirit, and the other trying to navigate the confusion of modern life. With humor that remains timeless, this film serves as a reminder of friendship, camaraderie, and above all, the madness of life itself. As they face the challenges of adulthood, they not only find themselves but also rediscover the true meaning of loyalty and companionship.
