In a picturesque town of the 1930s, a young and ambitious car thief finds himself caught up in a series of misadventures when he decides to steal a car that, unbeknownst to him, belongs to the mayor's daughter. After his escape attempt turns into a comedic chaos, the protagonist accidentally ends up on a weekend trip with the girl and her group of friends, who board the car without realizing he is the thief.

As they progress on their journey, the tension between the thief and the mayor's daughter gradually evolves into a romantic spark. Both struggle with their own circumstances; she is tired of the monotonous life in her town, while he aspires to something more than crime. However, not everything is sweetness and light, as the girl's father intensifies the search for his stolen car, which only adds more comedy to the situation.

Amid failed plans, unexpected encounters, and a myriad of misunderstandings, the young thief must decide whether to confess his truth or maintain the deception for the sake of romance. With a cast of endearing characters, this fun and romantic story explores themes of identity, redemption, and the quest for freedom, all presented with a light-hearted and entertaining touch that reflects the essence of the classics of the era.
