In a small village in Japan, a group of teenagers faces the anxieties and hopes of youth as they navigate the transition between childhood and adulthood. The story follows Kazuo, a dreamy young man caught between his family's expectations and his own ambitions. As he grows, Kazuo immerses himself in a world of discoveries, friendships, and conflicts that will test his identity and vision for the future.

With the arrival of summer, Kazuo and his friends, including the fearless Yuki and the reserved Takashi, embark on a series of adventures that lead them to reflect on love, friendship, and loss. Among bike rides, field games, and nights under the stars, each of them faces personal challenges that push them to mature.

The film highlights the universal dilemmas of youth: the pressure of the environment, confrontation with family, and the desire to find one's place in the world. As summer progresses, the bonds that unite the friends are tested, leading them to question their future and the direction of their lives. With a narrative filled with emotions and visually captivating direction, it presents a reflection on the passage of time and the moments that define our growth on the path to adulthood. The movie is a poignant and nostalgic portrayal of childhood, friendship, and the inevitable loss of innocence.
