In a small town, a mischievous dog named Buddy finds himself home alone while his owner, a young inventor, works on his new gadget. Buddy's curiosity leads him to explore the workshop, where he accidentally activates a device that allows him to make phone calls. Intrigued by the gadget, he decides to make a call, setting off a series of hilarious events.
Choosing a random number, Buddy connects with a house party of a group of carefree friends who quickly realize they are talking to a dog. At first, they assume it's a prank, but soon the situation turns into a wild telethon game in which the dog “participates” in a very peculiar way. The friends, excited by the uniqueness of the call, begin sharing anecdotes and offering him “canine” advice on life.
Meanwhile, the young inventor, upon discovering that Buddy has made a call, panics and runs after him, convinced that he has gotten his best friend into trouble. At the same time, the night progresses and the party turns into chaos as the friends try to understand what is really happening on the other end of the line.
Combining humor, confusion, and tenderness, Buddy navigates the human world, creating unexpected connections and reminding everyone that sometimes, it's a dog who has the best ideas. Will he manage to return in time before true chaos ensues?
