A Bullet for the General

In a quiet university of the 1960s, a group of philosophy students grapples with the uncertainty of the future and the quest for their identity. The story particularly focuses on one of them, an idealistic young man who feels trapped between the expectations of his professors and his own vision of life. As the rest of the group embarks on revelatory experiences—from fleeting romances to deep conversations about existence—the bonds of friendship are put to the test.

It all begins when the protagonist falls in love with a rebellious young woman, whose outlook on life drives him to question everything he thought he knew. Together, they explore themes of love, freedom, and the struggle against social conventions while dealing with the mounting pressure to graduate and face a world that often seems aimless. The plot unfolds through a series of encounters and misunderstandings, where each character reveals their longings and fears.

The academic environment becomes a microcosm of the society of the time, reflecting the tensions between generations and the concerns of a youth in search of purpose. With a melancholic yet optimistic tone, the narrative addresses the idea that, although not everything has a clear answer, the pursuit of truth and the connection with others are what truly matter in this journey of self-discovery.
