Evan Treborn is a young man who has faced constant trauma throughout his childhood, including the death of his father and violence in his home. Over the years, Evan tries to navigate his life, but these experiences have left him with gaps in his memory. One day, he discovers that he can travel back to critical moments in his past by reading his journals, allowing him to relive and alter his decisions. Excited by the idea of correcting his mistakes, Evan makes changes to his memories in the hope of improving his life and that of his loved ones, especially his sweet neighbor Kayleigh.

However, each attempt to change the past has unexpected and devastating consequences in the present. As Evan jumps between different timelines, he realizes that every small change can trigger a series of uncontrollable events that not only affect his life but also that of those he loves. Evan's internal struggle between the possibility of a bright future and the chaos of his choices leads him on an emotional journey that challenges the nature of fate and free will.

As he confronts the terrible realities of his actions, Evan must decide whether he is willing to continue manipulating time or if he should accept his life as it is, sacrificing everything for the well-being of others. In a tense game of cause and effect, will he be able to find a path to redemption?
