The Canadians

In a small Canadian town, two adventurous free spirits arrive in a place that looks like something out of a postcard. With the intention of finding work and new experiences, they quickly become involved in a whirlwind of comedic and heartwarming situations. Life in the area revolves around an annual event: the famous equestrian tournament that brings together the best riders in the region. The locals, with their peculiar character and deep-rooted traditions, receive the outsiders with skepticism, viewing them as mere tourists.

The protagonists, filled with enthusiasm and lacking much knowledge of the equestrian world, decide to sign up for the tournament, despite not having the right horses or the necessary training. Their lack of experience swiftly leads to a series of hilarious disasters, but also to life lessons and friendships. As they integrate into the community, the young adventurers begin to understand the value of teamwork and the true meaning of belonging.

Amidst the laughter and mix-ups, unexpected connections arise between the protagonists and the locals, with endearing characters and eccentricities that bring the narrative to life. The equestrian tournament becomes the perfect setting for a competition not just of skills, but of hearts as well. The film is a celebrated tribute to the Canadian spirit and the importance of community, where what truly matters are human relationships rather than victory on the field.
