On a cold Christmas Eve in London, the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge finds himself steeped in his own solitude, despising the festivities and the Christmas spirit. With a heart as cold as winter, Scrooge works tirelessly in his office, ignoring both his cheerful employee, Bob Cratchit, and his family, and rejecting invitations to spend Christmas with his dear nephew, Fred.
