In the midst of the Great Depression, James J. Braddock, a boxer from New Jersey, faces a life full of hardships after losing his fortune and his career in the ring. With an indomitable spirit and the determination to provide for his family, Braddock is forced to take on temporary jobs and fight against despair. His wife, Mae, embodies the unconditional support that encourages him not to give up, despite the constant adversity that besieges their home and dreams.

Everything changes when, unexpectedly, a series of fights brings him back to the ring. James becomes the "Cinderella Man" that many doubted would shine again, challenging younger and stronger opponents while clinging to the hope of providing for his family what they so long for. As he progresses through the boxing circuit, he faces his iconic rival, Max Baer, a famous and feared champion. With every punch and every fall, Braddock proves that the true fight is not just in the ring, but in life itself.

As fame returns to his life, he becomes a symbol of resilience, inspiring others to survive and resist the storms that life brings. On a journey filled with sacrifices, courage, and family love, Braddock transforms into an unlikely hero, showing that even in the darkest times, hope should never be lost.
