Set in 1920s Armenia, the story follows a young woman named Anahit, whose aspirations for freedom and love are thwarted by the political and social tensions of the time. Coming from a humble family, Anahit dreams of becoming a doctor, defying the expectations of a society that prioritizes marriage and tradition over individual dreams. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she falls madly in love with a revolutionary committed to the struggle for Armenia's independence.

The relationship between Anahit and her beloved becomes a symbol of resistance, but it also represents pain and sacrifice. As tensions rise and conflict intensifies, Anahit finds herself torn between her love for him and her desire to fight for a free Armenia. Dramatic elements intertwine with beautiful images of nature and vibrant traditions, reflecting the spirit and culture of the Armenian people.

The film addresses themes of love, sacrifice, and the search for identity in times of adversity. Faced with the brutal reality of war, Anahit and her beloved must make difficult decisions that will change the course of their lives and their relationship. Through a narrative filled with emotion and symbolism, the complexities of love amidst the struggle for freedom and belonging are explored. A moving piece that resonates in the hearts of those who watch it.
