The Common Man

In a small French village, a working-class man named Claude, known for his simplicity and love for routine, finds himself at a crossroads when life takes an unexpected turn. With a strong sense of responsibility, Claude runs a small factory producing consumer goods, where monotony seems to be his only companion. However, after an incident at work, his life takes a drastic turn, making him the target of a series of comedic and chaotic situations that will test his composure.

As he tries to find a solution to his work-related problems, Claude delves into the strange and often absurd world of unionism. There, he encounters a group of workers who believe that struggle is the only way to get ahead. What begins as a series of small demands soon transforms into a major protest that draws the entire community in, revealing the hidden tensions within the working class.

With biting humor and memorable scenes, Claude becomes the unexpected leader of this movement, tackling issues such as bureaucracy and working-class solidarity. Throughout his journey, he discovers not only the importance of friendship and community but also the strength that emerges from unity, as he faces adversities that threaten to disrupt his peaceful life in the village. A heartwarming story that blends comedy with sharp social critique, prompting us to reflect on the value of collective struggle and human dignity.
