In the midst of the turmoil of the 1950s, a group of travelers from various nationalities embarks on a perilous journey through the heart of Africa. Aboard an old riverboat, these characters are driven by their own stories, each carrying secrets and ambitions to fulfill. From an ambitious American businessman seeking new opportunities to a young woman determined to find her lost brother, they all share the same fate, even though their paths do not always align.

As they navigate the majestic river, the characters face unexpected challenges: from dangerous encounters with wild animals to threats from local tribes. The tension escalates when, after a sudden storm, the boat becomes trapped in the turbulent waters, forcing the crew to deal with resource scarcity and the group’s own dynamics. Bonds are strained and rivalries emerge, but moments of camaraderie and solidarity also blossom.

In a context where survival is key, human relationships are put to the test, and the true intentions of each traveler come to light. The dark reality of colonization and imperialism lurks in every corner of their journey. This action-packed and dramatic story is not only a physical voyage but also a journey toward self-discovery, where each person's past emerges as an obstacle they must confront in their struggle to emerge unscathed.
