In the turbulent Rome of the 17th century, Beatrice's life revolves around her family and the oppressive figure of her father, Francesco Cenci. This nobleman has descended into madness and violence, becoming a tyrant who will abuse his own daughter and subject her to unimaginable suffering. As the atmosphere in the family home grows increasingly suffocating, Beatrice begins to dream of freedom, but her aspirations clash with her father's brutality.

With the help of her maid and some unexpected allies, Beatrice devises a desperate plan to escape the nightmare that is her life. The story unfolds in a climate of intrigue and discontent, showcasing a young woman’s struggle against an oppressive system. As Beatrice confronts betrayal and danger, the viewer feels the mounting tension, witnessing how love and vengeance intertwine in her journey.

Set against a gloomy atmosphere and captivating artistic direction, the plot builds toward a heart-wrenching climax. In the end, Beatrice's fate not only reflects her personal struggle but also questions morality and power in society. The film is a gripping portrayal of resistance and redemption, with Beatrice emerging as a lasting symbol of the fight against oppression.
