In World War II England, a group of Allied engineers and pilots faces an almost impossible mission: to destroy a series of strategic dams in the heart of Nazi Germany. The story follows Colonel John "Johnny" Booth, a brilliant yet unconventional RAF officer who has a bold idea. Working with the restless inventor Barnes Wallis, Booth embarks on the development of an innovative aerial device: a bomb that can bounce on water, intended to attack the Möhne, Eder, and Sorpe dams.
Tension mounts as the team prepares for the missions and must overcome both technical and personal doubts and obstacles. Each pilot is carefully selected, including some who must leave their fears and anxieties behind. With the imminent threat of the enemy looming, the atmosphere is charged with drama and sacrifice.
The day of the raid finally arrives, and the film culminates in spectacular action-packed aerial sequences, where the brave pilots risk their lives as they attempt to fulfill their mission. With a blend of excitement, camaraderie, and heroism, the men battle the elements and the effective enemy defense. Although the operation is carried out with courage and determination, the effects of the attack will resonate far beyond the war itself, leaving a lasting mark on history.
