Set in an institution for young people with emotional issues, the story follows David, a teenager struggling against his own mind. At first glance, he appears to be a reserved boy with an aversion to socialization, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. One day, his life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Lisa, a brilliant young woman tormented by her battle with schizophrenia. Although she seems distant and erratic, David feels inexplicably drawn to her uniqueness and her inner struggle.

As their relationship flourishes, both characters begin to challenge the conventions of life in the institution. David becomes a beacon of light for Lisa, while she, in turn, helps him confront his own demons. The connection they develop allows them to experience moments of pure joy, but it also confronts them with the harsh reality of their conditions. Through thrilling ups and downs, their hearts unravel the complicated thread of friendship, adolescent love, and societal expectations.

The story unfolds with a narrative that explores the fragility of the mind and the strength of love. As they both struggle to find their place in the world, the film sensitively applies a lens to mental health issues, revealing the beauty and sadness that comes with accepting difference. The connection between David and Lisa challenges the limitations imposed by their environment, offering a powerful message about acceptance and empathy.
