In a remote and tranquil Irish city, a group of friends and family gathers to celebrate a festive dinner. Twinkling lights and soft music create a cozy atmosphere, where laughter and memories intertwine. But beneath this surface of joy, echoes of the past begin to emerge when Gretta, an elderly woman, recalls a lost love that she has never managed to forget. As the evening progresses, the focus shifts to Gabriel, her husband, who becomes increasingly insecure about his role in Gretta's life.

As the stories of the night flow, the complexity of relationships and the secrets that the characters have kept over the years are revealed. Gabriel struggles with his own insecurities and doubts about the emotional connection with his wife. His world starts to crumble when he discovers that Gretta's love for her deceased lover still endures, prompting a transformation in his perception of life and love.

The dinner turns into an introspective journey where each character confronts their own truths. Reflecting on life, death, and the meaning of memories, the night culminates in a moment of revelation that will forever change Gabriel's understanding of what it truly means to be alive. Through a delicate narrative, audiences are invited to consider the fragility of human relationships and the impact of memories on identity.
