In this French comedy set in the 1970s, we follow the misadventures of an ingenious yet unlucky Parisian police officer named Antoine. His life takes an unexpected turn when he falls head over heels for a mysterious woman who just happens to be embroiled in a slippery art theft case. As Antoine tries to balance his work life and his budding romance, he finds himself tasked with unraveling an intricate web of deception, where nothing is quite what it seems.

As he delves deeper into the investigation, he discovers that his beloved also harbors secrets, further complicating their relationship. With a touch of humor and a generous dose of entanglements, Antoine encounters a series of eccentric characters, including unorthodox colleagues and mystical criminals, as he attempts to solve the case and win the heart of the woman who has ensnared him in this criminal web.

The situations escalate when the wrongdoers realize they are being pursued, and Antoine must use all his wits to extricate himself from the mess he's gotten into. With a visual style that perfectly captures the atmosphere of the era and a script filled with unexpected twists, the film keeps viewers laughing and on the edge of their seats as Antoine seeks to redeem his professional reputation, all for love. With an ending that combines the resolution of the case and a romantic conclusion, this story is a perfect blend of intrigue and comedy that is hard to forget.
