In a dark and oppressive Italian city, a famous pianist and composer, Marcus Daly, becomes an unwitting witness to a brutal murder. Upon hearing an unsettling melody resonating at the crime scene, his curiosity quickly turns into an obsession. Determined to uncover the truth behind the macabre event, Marcus plunges into a world of secrets and hidden dangers.

As he progresses in his investigation, he discovers that the killer has a pattern connecting multiple deaths and that everything revolves around a disturbing mystery from his childhood. With the help of the inquisitive journalist Gianna Brezzi, the pianist tracks a trail of clues that lead him to a shadowy artistic circle where each figure harbors personal motives. But as he delves deeper into the plot, he begins to be stalked by the very killer who has set his sights on him and soon starts to eliminate any obstacles in his path.

The atmosphere grows increasingly tense and surreal, blending elements of psychological horror with a visual style from the director that challenges the viewer's perception. With each revelation, Marcus becomes more ensnared, facing a spiral of madness that forces him to question the thin line between reality and perception. The truth lurks nearby, and each note of his composition becomes an alarm drawing him closer to his inevitable confrontation with evil.
