In a quiet European village, the lives of all its inhabitants take an unexpected turn when a mysterious murder shakes the community. The victim, a respected botany professor, is found dead in his greenhouse surrounded by his beloved yellow flowers—special daffodils that seemed to hold a secret. The local police, overwhelmed by the complexity of the case, decide to enlist the help of a curious amateur detective, known for his cleverness and overflowing passion for plants.

As the detective begins to investigate, he uncovers a web of jealousy, academic rivalries, and dark secrets buried among the neighbors. Through his inquiries, he realizes that the professor had been working on a revolutionary project related to floral genetics, a work that could have stirred the greed of several in the community.

With the help of a young botanist, who also conceals her own interest in the professor's legacy, they form an unexpected duo. As they navigate floral paths and unravel the relationships among the suspects, the atmosphere becomes increasingly tense and dangerous. With each discovery, their lives are put at greater risk, blurring the line between the personal and the professional.

Ultimately, they are confronted with a shocking twist that reveals the identity of the killer and the truth behind the dark secret surrounding the yellow daffodils. A story that mixes mystery, botany, and a touch of human drama.
