In the elegant and cold apartment of a London couple, Margot Wendice's life takes a brutal turn when she discovers that her husband, Tony, has been plotting her murder. It all begins when Tony, a tyrant thirsty for revenge, decides that his wife has betrayed him by falling in love with an old flame, Mark. In a clever twist of events, Tony devises an intricate plan: to hire a criminal to kill Margot under the pretense that she is home alone. However, his wicked scheme takes an unexpected turn when Margot manages to defend herself, accidentally killing the assassin.

From there, the suspense intensifies as Tony tries to manipulate the scene to frame Margot for the crime. The tension rises with the arrival of a cunning detective who begins to glimpse the truth behind the façade of the perfect couple. With a narrative that plays with wit and intrigue, the story explores the complexities of love, betrayal, and the power of a malevolent mind.

With surprising twists and a constant pulse of tension, the tale unfolds in a cat-and-mouse game where each character has something to lose. As secrets are unveiled, the audience will find themselves caught in a deadly game that defies expectations, leaving the question of who is truly the victim in this twisted web of deception.
