In a world where faith and satire intersect, two fallen angels, Bartleby and Loki, decide to return to Earth with an audacious plan to regain their wings and return to heaven. They believe that if they can enter a church in New Jersey that has been renovated and rejects divine teachings, it will allow them to fulfill their destiny. However, the journey won't be easy, as their return sets off a series of chaotic events that could alter the course of existence.
The key to stopping them lies in Bethany, an ordinary woman who finds herself on a somewhat desperate quest to rediscover her faith and purpose. Unbeknownst to her, Bethany becomes the chosen one to embark on an epic mission with the help of a motley crew of allies: a blind prophet, a demon, and a couple of unusual characters from religious history. Together, they will confront the celestial and earthly forces trying to hinder the angels' return.
As they advance, themes such as religion, hypocrisy, and the true meaning of faith are explored, while the irreverent humor of the plot keeps the viewer laughing and reflecting. With absurd situations and sharp dialogues, the story challenges established beliefs and compels us to question the nature of divinity and religion in the modern world.
