In this moving story, we follow a young woman named Mary, who finds herself caught in the turmoil and drama of university life in the 1920s. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she falls in love with a passionate medical student, who soon leads her to experience a whirlwind of emotions and disappointments. However, things are not as simple as they seem; the game of jealousy and social expectations begins to take its toll on her.

Meanwhile, her life is marked by rivalry from other students, a climate of academic pressure, and a constant search for acceptance. As Mary navigates this emotional labyrinth, she finds herself torn between the promise of a bright future and the shadows of her own insecurity. The parties, clandestine meetings, and moments of laughter contrast with the tough decisions she must make in the end.

Mary's journey of self-discovery is also a reflection of the struggle many young women of her time faced, caught between ideals of freedom and the limitations imposed by society. The film uses stunning landscapes and captivating cinematography to immerse the viewer in the story of this young woman trapped in a changing world. With an ending that leaves a deep imprint, this masterpiece addresses themes of love, ambition, and the struggle for identity in a constantly evolving world.
