In this unsettling and surreal story, we follow Adam Bell, an apathetic history professor living a monotonous life in Toronto. He often feels trapped in the routine of his existence until one day, while watching a movie, he comes across a face that leaves him frozen: it’s him! Intrigued and somewhat disturbed, Adam decides to investigate this doppelgänger of his, an actor named Anthony Claire.

As he delves into Anthony's life, he discovers that his double has a personality opposite to his own: he is charismatic and successful but is also trapped in a complicated relationship with his wife, creating a fascinating contrast. Adam's obsession with his doppelgänger quickly spirals into a downward trajectory, leading him to cross boundaries he never anticipated.

As the two men begin to intertwine their lives in a disconcerting manner, a series of strange and ominous events unfold, leaving Adam questioning his own identity and reality. With an atmosphere charged with symbolism, the plot delves into themes of duality, desire, and the internal struggle against oneself. As the secrets of their relationship unfold, both characters face the devastating consequences of their choices, leading them toward an unexpected ending that resonates long after the credits have rolled.
