The story revolves around Eva, a single mother who finds herself at an uncertain point in her life. As she is about to leave behind the challenges of raising her children, she begins to explore new possibilities in both love and work. One day, at a party, she meets Albert, a sincere and kind-hearted man with whom she establishes an instant connection. However, Eva also befriends Marianne, a woman who turns out to be Albert's ex-wife. Over time, the relationship between Eva and Albert flourishes, while her friendship with Marianne grows closer.

As Eva delves into her new romance, she starts to hear Marianne's complaints and criticisms about her ex-husband. This leads her to question her bond with Albert. Eva's insecurities and Marianne's words begin to cloud her perspective, forcing her to choose between true love and her new friend's opinions. Eva's internal struggle intensifies as she faces the risks of building a relationship based on love, honesty, and acceptance, but also filled with doubts and insecurities. As the story unfolds, Eva must confront her fears and discover whether she can accept Albert for who he is, putting aside the external influences that threaten to destroy her happiness. The film is a beautiful journey about love, friendship, and self-understanding in adulthood.
