Every Girl Should Be Married

In a society where romantic expectations are the norm, a young and determined woman named Ann finds herself caught between her dreams of love and the reality of singlehood. Ann, portrayed by the charming Joan Fontaine, is a seasoned saleswoman working in a small clothing store. However, her true talent lies in manipulating love around her, dreaming of finding the ideal man who will take her to the altar.

One day, her fate changes dramatically when she meets an attractive doctor named Eddie, played by the charismatic Robert Montgomery. With great cunning and a bit of her feminine charm, Ann decides that Eddie is the man with whom she wants to spend the rest of her life. But there's a small problem: he hasn't yet considered the idea of marriage. Using her skills in the "art of romance," Ann embarks on a series of comedic and clumsy attempts to win not only Eddie's heart but also to prove to him that married life, and having a woman by his side, is the most desirable thing.

As situations become increasingly funny and tangled, the audience is immersed in a story that explores love, freedom, and women's aspirations in an era when marriage was seen as life's ultimate goal. With unexpected twists and the spark of a classic romance, Ann will learn that love doesn’t always follow the plans she makes.
