In a small, desolate town in Louisiana, a young couple, Ben and Jill, decides to move into an old house with a troubled past. At first, they are excited about their new life, dreaming of fixing up the house and settling into the community. But soon, strange things begin to happen. Unexplainable noises, disappearing objects, and a feeling that they are not alone start to disturb their peace.

While Ben immerses himself in the renovation of the home, Jill begins to explore the ancient secrets lurking in the shadows of the house. She learns about the dark history of the property, related to a brutal murder that occurred decades ago. The atmosphere becomes increasingly oppressive as they discover that these are not just urban legends; something malevolent resides in the house and is not willing to let them go.

As the tension rises, Jill's mental health begins to deteriorate, and Ben finds himself caught between protecting his wife and confronting the terrifying reality of their new home. The line between madness and the supernatural blurs, leading to a chilling climax that will make you question what is real. The film is not only a journey through psychological horror but also explores the impact of the past on the present, creating an atmosphere that will linger with you long after the credits roll.
