In this fun romantic comedy from the 1930s, we follow Helen, a modern and liberated young woman who has decided to break away from the traditions that have defined romantic relationships. After a series of failed relationships, Helen finds herself torn between her desire for independence and the social pressure to conform to the expectations of a lady of her time. Determined to live life on her own terms, Helen becomes a "young girl," enjoying her romantic adventures without the burden of commitment.

However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with a charming and charismatic editor named Judson. Caught up in a game of seduction and misunderstandings, Helen and Judson find themselves swept away in a whirlwind of comedic encounters. As they both grapple with their own desires and the expectations of their social circles, the tension mounts and the flirting evolves into something more serious.

As the plot unfolds, Helen must face the reality of her feelings and decide whether she is willing to give up her independence for love. With a mix of humor, romance, and a touch of social critique on female freedom, this film captures the essence of an era when women began to challenge norms and seek their place in a changing world. In the end, Helen's adventure will lead her to discover the true meaning of love in a context that is much more than just a simple romance story.
