The Face on the Barroom Floor

In a bar lost in the shadows of a dusty town, the life of a talented artist is marked by tragedy and heartbreak. The story begins when a young painter seeks inspiration in the drinks and conversations of the patrons, while facing his inner demons. His heartbreaking love for a beautiful woman, a singer who also performs at the establishment, becomes the center of his world.

One night, driven by despair, he decides to capture his love in a masterpiece on the surface of the floor: the face of his muse, a portrait that symbolizes both his devotion and his deep bitterness. As the painting comes to life on the ground, the atmosphere shifts; the fleeting joy of the bar transforms into a stage of jealousy and conflict, as a rival, determined to fight for the singer’s heart, challenges the artist.

Tensions reach a fever pitch in a frantic duel, where passion and art clash violently. As the echoes of shouts and the sound of swords resonate through the room, the painter is drawn into a tragic fate. His work, a representation of eternal love, not only captures the essence of his muse but also becomes a reminder of the loss and sorrow that will accompany him forever. Thus, the floor of the bar is imbued with the melancholy of a shattered dream.
