In 18th-century Europe, where music and opera reign in the hearts of the nobility, an extraordinary talent emerges from the bustling atmosphere of the court. Carlo Broschi, known as Farinelli, is a young soprano whose angelic voice can unleash passions and evoke admiration from all who hear him. Since childhood, Carlo has grappled with his family’s expectations and the limitations imposed by his condition, but with the support of his brother Riccardo, an aspiring composer, he sets out to conquer the world of music.

As his fame grows, so does the rivalry with other famous singers, along with the personal dilemmas he faces, as his unusual talent provokes both admiration and jealousy. The story delves into the complex relationship between the two brothers, who, despite their closeness, live an internal struggle; Riccardo becomes the composer of the works that Farinelli performs, but he always remains in the shadow of his brother's dazzling success.

When love begins to blossom in Carlo's life, the narrative turns into a biting reflection of his personal and professional conflict. Through the splendor and decadence of art, the film captures the quest for identity, sacrifice, and the struggle for immortality in a world where beauty can be bittersweet. Music, passion, and drama intertwine, taking the viewer on an extraordinary journey.
