In a small town in the United States in the early 20th century, a family man known for his temperamental character and his fondness for strong drinks faces a funny and chaotic dilemma. After learning that his son, a young dreamer who is somewhat clumsy, has decided to compete in a local talent contest, the father becomes the boy's unexpected mentor. However, his own inability to stay away from alcohol jeopardizes his son's opportunities.

The story unfolds amid the hustle and bustle of the contest, where colorful and extravagant characters participate, adding an air of comedy and hilarious situations. As the event approaches, the father is forced to confront his own demons: his relationship with alcohol and the impact it has on his family. Amid failures and moments of hilarity, the man discovers that his role as a father transcends the mere fact of being a provider; it is about being a support and an example.

With each stumble, the young man finds his voice, and his talent is refined, while his father, through laughter and tears, learns valuable lessons about fatherhood and the importance of unconditional love. In the end, the contest not only reveals the true artist within the son but also strengthens the bond between them, showing that family can overcome even the most improbable obstacles. A heartwarming comedy that mixes laughter and moments of family reflection on an unexpected journey towards self-discovery.
