In the midst of the devastating First World War, a small French village becomes the backdrop for a story of love and courage amid chaos. The plot follows Lucie, a young nurse who works tirelessly in a field hospital, where the constant influx of wounded soldiers stirs her heart with a myriad of emotions. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Pierre, a daring aviator whose indomitable spirit contrasts with the desolation surrounding them.

As the troops advance, Lucie and Pierre fall hopelessly in love, sharing stolen moments between the shadows of war. However, duty and sacrifice shape their path. As Pierre is assigned to increasingly dangerous missions, Lucie faces the agony of uncertainty and the possibility of losing him. Each flight becomes a symbol of hope and loss, connected by a luminous butterfly that appears on full moon nights, which Lucie begins to see as an omen of her fate.

With the progression of the war, they face heartbreaking decisions and the harsh reality of their environment. Will they manage to find light amid the darkness, or will sacrifice be their only legacy? This poignant love story reminds us of the fragility of life and the perseverance of the human spirit, even in the darkest days.
