In a world marked by greed and anger, a young nobleman named Francis of Assisi lives a life filled with luxury and privileges. However, after a series of personal events and a profound spiritual quest, he begins to question the true meaning of happiness and life itself. His path to enlightenment begins when he befriends the most impoverished and experiences the pain and suffering of others in a way he had never imagined.

As Francis distances himself from the comforts of his former life, he embarks on a mission of love and compassion, embracing the poverty and suffering around him. His devotion to God and his desire to live in harmony with all creatures lead him to found a community of followers who share his vision of peace and humility. The film follows his teachings and the opposition he faces from both ecclesiastical authorities and his own family, who do not understand his radical choice of lifestyle.

With breathtaking landscapes and direction that highlights the beauty of nature, the story not only captures the essence of Francis's humanitarian spirit but also explores universal themes such as love, redemption, and sacrifice. This film raises questions about the path to spirituality and the true meaning of wealth, leaving the viewer reflecting on their own values in a chaotic world.
