In this intense and dark tale of revenge, we follow a cold and calculating enforcer named Jack Carter, who returns to his northern England hometown after the death of his brother, apparently due to an accident. However, as he digs deeper, Carter realizes that things are not what they seem and that his brother was murdered. Fueled by rage and the need for justice, he plunges into an underground world of criminals, prostitutes, and a murky network of corruption.

As Carter delves into the underworld, he confronts the harsh realities of his childhood and relentless enemies who will stop at nothing to protect their secrets. With dark humor and a grim atmosphere, the film captures the decay of urban life and the emotional wreckage that accompanies someone living on the fringes of the law. Each step Carter takes brings him closer to the truth, but also to danger, and he soon realizes that his quest for revenge could cost him far more than he ever imagined.

With striking visual style and an immersive soundtrack, this story becomes a penetrating study of loyalty, betrayal, and the consequences of a dark past. As events unfold, tension escalates, leading the viewer to a brutal and unforgettable climax, where the lines between good and evil blur.
