In a small town in America, a clumsy and dreamy reporter for a local newspaper, Luther Heggs, finds himself stuck in his monotonous job and yearns for an opportunity to shine. His life takes an unexpected turn when he offers to spend a night alone in an old haunted mansion that is rumored to be cursed. This challenging task is part of a bet among friends, but Luther is the kind of guy who gets swept up in the excitement and, of course, in the mirages of a story that could make him famous.

Upon arriving at the mansion, he is greeted by a chilling and mysterious atmosphere, full of strange noises and unsettling shadows. His bravery is soon put to the test as he begins to experience supernatural phenomena, from doors closing on their own to the appearance of a friendly ghost who guides him through the house's history. As the night progresses, Luther becomes the protagonist of a series of hilarious situations that blend comedy and horror, challenging his sanity and putting his courage to the test.

What begins as a ridiculous adventure turns into a quest for truth, as Luther unravels the dark past of the mansion and learns lessons about courage, friendship, and the importance of facing our fears. In this cocktail of laughs and scares, it is revealed that sometimes, ghosts can be friendlier than they seem, and the real challenge lies in overcoming our own fears.
