In a small town in New England, a young woman named Alice, trapped in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, dreams of escaping her mundane existence. Working at the local café, her life takes an unexpected turn when she encounters a mysterious outsider who arrives in town in search of a new life. His presence ignites a spark in Alice, leading her to question her role in the conservative society that surrounds her.

As she develops a connection with the daring visitor, symbolized by a charming dome emerging on the horizon, Alice begins to discover her own desire for freedom and self-discovery. The chemistry between the two characters drives them to explore the boundaries of conformity and love, causing tensions with their families and the community. Love blossoms in a context where social expectations impose an overwhelming weight on their shoulders.

As the outsider's secrets come to light, the relationship between Alice and him becomes a battleground between tradition and desire. In a poignant climax, Alice must confront her own fear of the unknown and decide whether she will step into an uncertain future alongside her new love or return to the safety of home. With a backdrop of beautiful imagery of rural life and a captivating soundtrack, the film invites us to question the sacrifices we are willing to make for love and freedom.
